Multi-Trans A4 paper is a high-quality transfer paper for laser printing, designed for transferring graphics onto hard, smooth surfaces. The paper has been developed to enable simple and convenient marking of surfaces such as ceramics, metal, glass, tiles and acrylic, making it ideal for use in personalisation studios, service outlets and advertising production facilities

The paper does not require contour cutting or the removal of excess material around the artwork, making it ideal for both single orders and small runs. The manufacturer also highlights its ease of use, vibrant colours and high-quality detail reproduction, which is particularly important for promotional prints, personalised mugs and promotional gifts. 

On light-coloured substrates, the paper is compatible with CMYK printing, and when used with CMYW printers featuring white toner, it can also be used to decorate surfaces in other colours.

How to use Multi-Trans transfer paper

Using Forever Multi Trans A4 paper is straightforward, but requires following the correct procedure and adjusting the settings to suit the type of substrate. 

  • prepare your design and print it on paper in mirror image,
  • select the print settings appropriate for transfer paper, in accordance with the type of printer you are using,
  • preheat the press before starting work,
  • place the print on the product with the printed side facing the surface,
  • secure the paper using heat-resistant tape,
  • place the product in the press and carry out the transfer according to the parameters suitable for the substrate in question,
  • once the process is complete, peel off the paper as recommended for the material in question.


For ceramic mugs, the process is as follows

  • heat up the mug press,
  • place the print onto the mug and secure it with heat-resistant tape,
  • place the mug in the press,
  • carry out the transfer using the settings appropriate for the mug 

Usage information

  • before transferring, the surface should be clean, dry and free of grease,
  • when working with different materials, it is advisable to carry out a test on a single item,
  • for substrates requiring even pressure, silicone pads may be helpful,
  • with CMYK printers, the paper is intended for light-coloured mugs and light-coloured surfaces, whilst with CMYW
  • printers using white toner, substrates in other colours can also be decorated.
