This useful accessory allows you to conveniently cut self-adhesive films, vinyl and other backing materials without the need for a plotter mat. Working directly from the roll is convenient and time-saving - especially for larger projects.
Film cutting without matting - greater freedom and efficiency
With this feeder, you can easily cut designs without having to place the material on the cutting mat. This solution is perfect for long, repetitive projects and professional production of decorations, stickers or advertising signage.

Built-in cutter with replaceable blade
The Brother roller feeder is equipped with a practical guillotine-style cutter, which enables the film to be cut off evenly and precisely after cutting. The cutting blade can be replaced if necessary, ensuring a long service life for the machine.
Integration with Brother SDX plotters and CanvasWorkspace software
The CADXRF2 feeder works directly with Brother SDX series plotters (including the SDX900) and is fully compatible with the CanvasWorkspace application. The software allows you to design and edit cutting parameters directly from the roll, giving you full control over the process.
During feeder operation, the plotter automatically activates the Half-Cut function, whereby only the face material (e.g. film) is cut, without cutting through the backing layer.
Note: for more flexible materials, the use of a cutting mat is recommended.
