Wooden frame with glass for printing RIKO

The RIKO wooden frame with glass is a ready-made product for companies involved in sublimation printing. The base and guides are made of light, natural wood, which serves as a stable stand and an elegant frame for the print. The 178 x 127 mm, 3 mm thick glass slides into the frame rails from the top – assembling the finished design takes literally a moment, without tools or additional components.

The matt side of the glass is covered with a polyester coating suitable for sublimation printing. This is the side onto which the print is transferred. This gives you clear photos, lettering and logos, and when the glass is placed in a frame, the graphics are clearly visible and look like an elegant glass plaque.

The RIKO glass frame is an elegant alternative to plastic frames and classic paper prints in ordinary frames.

The frame fits well with modern, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors, both at home and in the office, which further expands its potential uses.

Thermal transfer on glass

Glass can be printed on any flat transfer press designed for sublimation, which ensures even pressure across the entire surface. When preparing the file for printing, we create the design without using mirror imaging.

Available variants

In addition to the vertical version, a vertical RIKO wooden frame is also available. Both versions use glass of the same dimensions.

In the event of a failed print, there is no need to replace the entire product – glass for frames can be purchased separately. This reduces material waste and gives you more freedom to test new designs.

TRANSFER PARAMETERS

Transfer technology: Product is designed for sublimation printing. To make the print, you need a transfer press for cups with a diameter of 80 mm or a transfer oven / 3D press with clamp support.
Print: The printout (sublimation inkjet printer and sublimation paper) should be mirror-image and 200 x 90 mm in size.
Transfer temperature (press with one temperature, e.g. Schwitzler Lokomotiv PRO): 185°C
Transfer time (press with one temperature, e.g. Schwitzler Lokomotiv PRO):: 2,5 min
Pressure:: Medium
Tips:: After the transfer, cool the cup quickly by placing it in hot water or putting the bottom up in a cold room.
Additional information: The parameters are only an approximate value and may vary depending on the transfer press used, the heater condition or the ambient conditions.
